MTX Mototrax is a Motocross videogame made by Left Field Productions and published by Activision for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004. It was released for the PC later that year. The PC version was developed and published by Aspyr. It was released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. The game was also set for release for the Nintendo GameCube console in 2004 but was later canceled. It was also planned to be released for the Tapwave Zodiac, but that was canceled as well when Tapwave went out of business. The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring is a 2002 action-adventure game developed based on the first volume of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Pocket Studios developed the game for Game Boy Advance, The Whole Experience developed the game for Xbox, while Surreal Software developed the PlayStation 2 and PC version. Despite being released around the same time as Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings film trilogy, the game is based on Tolkien's book rather than Jackson's film version of The Fellowship of the Ring. The three playable characters in the game are Frodo, Aragorn, and Gandalf; each with their own weapons (which vary throughout the game). Frodo uses 3 melee weapons at different stages in the game: a walking stick at the start of the game, a dagger (from the Barrow Downs) after defeating an Old Barrow-wight, and the short sword Sting, which is given to him by Bilbo. Frodo can also pick up stones and throw them in a ranged attack, as well as utilizing the Ring to give him invisibility. Aragorn uses a broadsword, Andúril, and a bow. Gandalf uses his sword Glamdring and his array of magical spells: Fiery Blast, Staff Strike, Chain Lightning, Heal, and Attract.
There are meters in the game found on the top right and left corners of the screen. For Frodo, the meter at the top left represents health and the top right represents purity. When Frodo wears the One Ring his purity is depleted. Wear it for too long, and a Black Rider will find Frodo. Aragorn only has a health meter. Gandalf has a health meter and a spirit meter in place of a purity meter, which is depleted when casting spells. It is replenished by drinking Miruvor. There are many items in the game. One of them is mushrooms, commonly found in The Shire. Another is Cram, a bread made by the men of Dale. It can be found in Bree, Weathertop, The Troll Shaws, Orc Dam, Moria, Hollin, and Amon Hen. Lembas is a waybread made by the elves of Lothlórien. It can be found in the same places as Cram. Another item is Miruvor, a drink to replenish Gandalf's spirit meter. Lembas, Cram, and Mushrooms all replenish health.

After losing the official F1 license from Formula One Administration Ltd. to a multi-year exclusive licensing contract between FOA and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (publishers of the competing Formula One series on PlayStation/PlayStation 2), ISI developed their final release hitting stores in 2003. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed and published by Electronic Arts for the Windows, Mac OS X and Xbox 360 platforms, and released internationally in March 2007. Tiberium Wars takes place in the year 2047, at the advent of and during the "Third Tiberium War" when the Brotherhood of Nod launches a worldwide offensive against the Global Defense Initiative, abruptly ending 17 years of silence and temporarily crippling GDI. With the odds tipped in the Brotherhood's favor this time, GDI field commanders rally their troops and begin to combat Nod's second re-emergence, trying to restore lost hope. In the middle of it all, a new playable faction appears: the alien Scrin.
Command & Conquer 3 features returning aspects of gameplay from the previous series. The player oversees the action, ordering multiple units to move and attack targets. The construction yard, a moveable base, is the central platform from which the player constructs other structures. Certain structures can then produce units and resources are needed in order to fund the continuous building of structures and units. Typically the player's primary goal is to defeat an enemy by assaulting and destroying their base, while defending their own.
A supporting structure, a crane, can be constructed which can also construct structures. Thus, when multiple production structures of the same type, such as cranes and barracks, are built, the player is given more queues from which to train and produce units and structures. Though these simultaneously save time, funds are deducted for the extra cost as well; careful management of production, training units and funds are key to strategy. When a structure is built, the player can select anywhere near an existing structure to place it, gaining more territorial control.

Crashday is a destruction derby/racing/car stunts game co-developed by Replay Studios, Moonbyte Games and published by Atari. It was released in February 2006. The game combines various styles of preceding racing games. Several modes are available, including several race variants, a Destruction Derby-like arena, various capture-the-flag variants, and stunt competition. The cars can be upgraded to have weapons, similar to those in Full Auto, with which to attack competitors in both race and arena modes. The stunt mode involves the player driving around a purpose-built stunt track, performing flips, rolls and other stunts to receive points. The more combo stunts you perform, the more points you receive. The hold the flag mode contains a flag that should be driven through a number of randomly selected checkpoints. The flag can be stolen from another player by toughing his/her car. Race mode includes a mode whereby the last car on each lap is destroyed. There is also a race type called bomb run mode featuring a minimum speed that rises with each checkpoint to avoid a bomb being detonated, in reference to the movie Speed
Damage is taken to the car as an overall percentage, which causes the car to be "wrecked" at 100%. The lights, windscreens and body trim can all be smashed from the vehicle and wheel and suspension damage is also modelled (affecting the car's actual driving performance). Furthermore the cars geometry deforms through collisions, again effecting the cars stability. Though these features are not immediately apparent due to the games 'arcade' feel that allow continual collisions without noticeable damage (there is no realism settings in the options menus), the game can in fact be easily modified to allow a more realistic damage model by editing the simple text in the games configuration file. There are many car types available for purchase as well as a system of upgrades. Many of these are cosmetic in nature, however the cars can be armoured to absorb less damage from impacts and gunfire - as well as being reinforced to better resist collision damage (and cause more to other cars). Cars will then take very little damage in collisions against the front of their vehicles. The car's engine performance can be increased, and other more cosmetic improvements include wheels, trims and paint schemes.

Stronghold 2 is a real time strategy computer game released in April 2005 in which the player develops a stronghold in the middle ages. It is the sequel to Stronghold, released in 2001, also by Firefly Studios.
The game engine was enhanced over the original Stronghold to provide full 3-dimensional graphics, although the assembly code is all in one subroutine. Other changes include new military and peace campaigns and the addition of crime and punishment, allowing players to torture unruly peasants. A number of new characters were also introduced.
In the game, the player plays as a lord who rules over a medieval castle. With his available resources, the player places buildings or features, including many different kinds of food production, industry, civil, or military buildings and defences. Available peasants automatically choose jobs whenever a building requires one, so player micromanagement is minimal, he mostly needs to set up the various buildings in an efficient way while providing safety for his peasants. Military units are directly controlled individually or in groups, sometimes quite large with sieges or battles involving many hundreds on each side. One new addition to the original stronghold is the inclusion of estates, that a player can "buy" with his accumulated honor (gained by popularity, holding feasts, dances, jousting, etc.). Estates are semi-independent villages (without castle fortifications) that produce their own goods that the owner can send through carts to his castle or his allies. The inclusion of fully 3D-rendered graphics allowed Stronghold 2 to include tower interiors as battlegrounds for units, and the ability to go observe castle inhabitants very closely, which is useful considering the new features of waste & rat management. As in the original Stronghold, players can choose very different styles of play modes: Kingmaker, Siege, War Campaign, Peace Campaign, Freeplay, Custom scenario, and in Multiplayer (Hosted by Gamespy). An extensive map editor allows for endless replayability.

Mortal Kombat is a 2.5D fighting game with 3D graphics and the ninth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series. It is a reboot of the franchise and was developed by NetherRealm Studios (formerly known as Midway Studios) and published exclusively under the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems in April 2011, and a PlayStation Vita port was released in May 2012. A content-packed version of the game, titled Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2012 and for Microsoft Windows in July 2013.
Although set directly after Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the game focuses on the earliest period in the Mortal Kombat series, the trilogy of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3. The storyline involves the divine protector of Earth, Raiden, attempting to change the aftermath of the events of Armageddon by contacting his past self as he faces defeat at the hands of the evil emperor of Outworld Shao Kahn. The game also features a return to the gameplay style roots of the Mortal Kombat series, with fights taking place in a two-dimensional plane but with characters and levels rendered in 3D.
Upon release, Mortal Kombat received positive reviews and won several awards for fighting game of the year. It was also a commercial success, selling more than two million copies in just the first month. Due to its extremely violent content, the game was banned in Australia and South Korea as well as being indexed in Germany; the Australian ban was later lifted and the game was released there in May 2013.
Principal gameplay involves one-on-one fighting in a single 2D fighting plane (at 60 frames per second), although characters are rendered in three-dimensional fashion, the intent being to give depth and range to portrayals of various projectiles. Unlike previous Mortal Kombat games, four buttons on the game controller represent attacks and are each linked to a corresponding limb.
A new feature is the "super meter", which can be charged by various actions during battle such as performing special moves, getting hits blocked by the opponent, or getting hit by them. The super meter can be charged to three levels, each of them enabling a different action to be performed. At the first level, it can be used to deliver an enhanced version of one of the character's special attacks; two levels can be used to interrupt a combo attack, and the full three levels allow for the delivery of a special attack called an "X-ray move". The X-ray move unleashes a series of attacks during which the camera provides an internal view of the character being attacked, which shows their bones and organs being broken or ruptured.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains 2 playable factions, Soviets and Allies which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode.
Red Alert 2 proved to be a success, both commercially and with critics, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.
Every aspect of gameplay in the game is based on the collection of money. In the game, money can be collected by several means. The most common is using Miner trucks to gather Ore and/or Gems and transport them to a Refinery. A player can also gain a lasting income by capturing Oil derricks (neutral buildings that are present in some maps). There also are two one-time sources of money for Allied and Soviet players, namely collecting random crates which are present in the map and selling off buildings which are controlled by the player. Allied players have a third one-time sources of money using a spy to steal an enemy's money. The money is spent on constructing and repairing buildings and units. In both cases one can start construction before having the full cost in one's reserves, as construction pauses if one runs short of money.
The various nations are members of either the Soviet or the Allied factions. One of the major praises of Red Alert 2 over the original Red Alert game was that playing as a specific country now actually made a difference. While every country has the basic buildings and units, each nation has a special unique unit, or a unique ability or structure. This changed up the popular skirmish games, allowing for new strategies.
It is also the first C&C RTS not to include a mission select screen prior to levels that change the conditions of the next level.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is the fourth game in Tony Hawk's series. It was developed by Neversoft and was published in 2002 by Activision for the GameCube, Xbox, PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance. In 2003 it was published for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.
This game is the last of the Tony Hawk's video game series to be flanked with the Pro Skater name, since Tony Hawk's Underground (2003) overhauled the imagery of the franchise. However, Underground and other titles reused a large number of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4's elements.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is a departure from the previous three games' Career mode, in which the player had a set amount of time in order to find and complete goals. 4 instead featured a Career mode more similar to Free-skate mode, in which there was no time limit to explore the level, the goals are usually offered to the player to attempt by characters found in the level. This Career mode would be later seen as the Story modes of Tony Hawk's Underground series, American Wasteland, Project 8 and Proving Ground.
The game builds on the success of the gameplay in the previous games in the series. All of the combos from the previous game make an appearance, as well as some new tricks that can be performed to better navigate parks and areas. New to the game is the spine transfer, in which the player can press the shoulder button to transfer between connecting quarterpipes, or otherwise self-right themselves to exit quarter-pipes or prevent bailing should they fly off them. The game also features skitching, which lets skaters hang off the back of moving vehicles.
The "hidden combos" for turning some tricks into slight variations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 turned into a standard feature, albeit not as advanced as the system would turn out in the next game in the series, where it was finalized. Also included was the ability to do grind and lip extensions by tapping a direction and grind while grinding or lipping, which can also grant the player bigger combos as they can do a grind extension into a special move, for example. NBA 2K13 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 2, 2012 in North America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and Wii. Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game sold 9.5 million copies in the U.S. Online matchmaking with friends is unavailable and "Blacktop 3 vs 3", and "MyTEAMs" modes have been removed. The game's virtual currency system and the features associated with the currency system (such as unlockable Blacktop Stars and MyCLOSET) have not ported over from the console versions. In addition, advanced lighting features available on consoles, such as self-shadowing are also unavailable. Custom soundtracks and DLC (including pre-order DLC) have been excluded as well.
The PC version can be modified with new player faces, arenas and courts, jerseys and tools which allow you to clone real NBA players into My Career mode.

Borderlands 2 is an action role-playing first-person shooter video game that was developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. It is the sequel to 2009's Borderlands and was released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and OS X platforms. As with the first game, Borderlands 2 players complete a campaign consisting of central quests and optional side-missions as one of four treasure seekers, "Vault Hunters", on the planet Pandora. Borderlands 2's gameplay is very similar to the bombastic, frenzied shoot and beat 'em up of the first game. Players choose between different weapon types such as shotguns, snipers, assault rifles, etc. Each weapon has a unique manufacturer, and different company's weapons have different effects. A Tediore weapon, for example, when reloaded, is thrown and explodes on enemy contact, or after a short period of time before re-materializing into your hands with a full clip of ammo. Players also have a standard melee attack that is always bound to their character. This attack can be augmented through skill trees and class mods, etc. A player also has access to an "Action Skill." This Skill is unique for each class, and the character's skill trees will influence the way your action skill works. For instance, the Assassin's Skill allows him to go invisible and project a decoy of himself in front of him. His next attack, melee or ranged, will have increased damage and critical hit damage. His skill trees allow him extend the amount of time his skill lasts by killing enemies, they can allow him to deal more melee damage to tougher targets, or you can specialize him a different way, and get bonuses to sniping, or, if you're into both sniping and brawling, a tree for both. As a player earns more kills, defeats bosses, or completes quests, you gain Experience points(Abbreviated as EXP) for your skills and points. When you achieve a new rank, you earn a token that can be used to instantly increase your base stats, such as Fire Rate, Recoil Reduction, Damage, Critical Hit Damage, Melee Damage, Health, etc. These base stat attributes carry over to every character.
